- **Ask the AI about what you're looking at**  
  The assistant side panel can now read any text you've selected on a web page, so you can ask about the current screen without copying and pasting it into the chat.

- **AI reads Google Docs and Office documents**  
  The assistant can now pull content from Google Docs and Office files that render on a canvas, so it can answer questions about documents it previously couldn't see.

- **Stop a response while the AI is replying**  
  A Stop button lets you halt a reply mid-answer instead of waiting for it to finish.

- **Import your memory from other AI tools**  
  A new Import tab lets you paste a memory or personalization export from another AI assistant, so the assistant starts out knowing your context. When two notes conflict, the newer one wins.

  The AI Chats screen, Command Bar, and splash screen have an updated look.

  Questions about recent news now return more reliable answers with sources.

  Lengthy requests now have up to five minutes to complete before timing out.

- **Chat controls lock while the AI is replying**  
  Inputs are disabled during a response so you don't accidentally send a follow-up before the reply finishes.

- **Session timeouts return you to the home screen**  
  When your session expires in any window, you're now sent back to the main screen to sign in again instead of getting stuck.
